Our services
-
Regular chimney sweeping (at LEAST once a year) is vital for reducing the risk of a chimney fire and carbon monoxide poisoning.
We offer a friendly and professional service using traditional manual sweeping methods, as well as modern rotary power sweeping.
We have been professionally trained by the National Association of Chimney Sweeps and are fully insured. All flues are smoke-checked and an insurance approved certificate will be issued upon completion.
-
All our sweeps carry high definition cameras, which we can use to inspect your flue to confirm its integrity and ensure it is free from blockages.
-
We are trained and have the correct equipment to remove nests from your chimney.
It is illegal to intentionally destroy active nests, eggs, or disturb breeding birds under the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 and we will only remove a birds nest outside of nesting season (September to March).
It’s best to prevent birds nesting in chimneys – it reduces the risk of chimney fires, as well as avoiding injury to the birds and damage to their nest. You can do this by having chimneys swept regularly and by fitting a cowl to the chimney pot to prevent access.
-
We inspect your stove (firebricks, rope seals, glass, throat plate/baffle etc) to ensure it is working safely and efficiently.
We can advise and fit new items that require replacement -
We can install cowls, bird guards, and caps on your chimney pot if required.
